Are you feeling stressed and deeply challenged by the current health risks, financial uncertainty, and rapid changes in your life, community, and world?  We are too.

We’re offering a safe space and opportunity to build and maintain healthy human connections, affirm Spirit, support one another, and nourish ourselves.

We Won’t Let the Coronavirus Stop the Music!  🙂

We’d LOVE to have you join us and our special musical guests for these weekly interactive musical gatherings.

Drumming, singing, and playing music together is old wisdom that’s grounded, connected, and uplifted people for thousands of years.  Music can close the gap created by social distancing.  Music is Personal and Community Medicine.

We’ll offer 1) guided meditations with live music, 2) interactive drumming, vocalization, and musical activities for expression, connection, and healing, 3) small breakout groups for sharing, & more.  We can’t simultaneously listen and play music together with everybody, but we will creatively unlock the potential of video conferencing, music, and small breakout sharing groups to connect during these difficult times.

Jonathan Crowder, JD, has been teaching and facilitating interactive group drumming and musical programs for nearly 20 years for personal/spiritual growth, wellness, and group development.  Among others, his clients include Fortune 500 companies (Twitter, Vail Resorts, Fidelity, SAP, Davita, etc.), hospitals and universities (Univ of CO hospital, Univ of FL hospital, Univ of Texas), conferences, yoga and spiritual growth retreats, schools, addiction recovery groups, communities, and diverse organizations across the US.  He is a Remo Drum Company Endorsed Facilitator and Trained Health Rhythms Facilitator.

And, Health Rhythms’ published scientific research supports health benefits from music making, including stress release, enhanced immune system activity, and emotional wellness.

Important & Helpful Program Info:

  • No musical experience necessary
  • You don’t have to have a musical instrument, but it will add to your experience to have some kind of hand or frame drum, shaker, etc.  Homemade instruments and found sounds such as 5 gallon water bottles can work too.  We’ll focus on drums, rhythmical instruments, vocalization, creative expression, and sharing with others.  The host and special guests will play a variety of instruments- drums, guitar, native flute, etc…  And, you’re welcome to play whatever musical instrument you’d like such as during various activities where we guide you to create music with a specific intention.  But, it’s not technologically possible to have experiences where all participants are organically playing and listening to each other simultaneously.
  • Zoom Video Conferencing-  You can participate by computer, tablet, or mobile with mic/audio/video capabilities.  You don’t need a Zoom account.  Here’s the Zoom link for the Zoom computer software or apps for tablet/mobile.  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362233  For computer, the Zoom software should automatically prompt for download when you click to join the meeting or you can download the Zoom software at the link.  The Zoom link also has links to Apple and Android apps.  We’ll email the meeting info to everybody when you register.  For more Zoom technical info, please see https://zoom.com
  • Gatherings will be recorded and available for viewing afterwards
  • Due to technological limits on small group breakouts, each 4 week session is limited to 200 participants
  • Please do not consider these programs as a replacement for any type of medical care, mental health counseling, medication, etc.  We know these are difficult times, but we’re not medical professionals or therapists
